Kate's Mom & Dad want to thank everyone for their love and support. We want everyone to know that Kate was a wonderful girl that got into a bad relationship with an older boy. That relationship led her into a complicated life of isolation from us (her parents) and ultimately resulted in her taking her own life on Feb 22, 2004 at the age of 16 years old, 30 days after being put on Zoloft.. We plea to everyone in the community to please take care of each other. Teens need to realize how important it is to watch over and protect each other. We have heard from several other girls that have had serious problems with this same "older boy", he insists on dating 16 and 17 year old girls no matter how old he gets. (23 now...) No Girl at age 16 should have to deal with the mental abuse Kate was exposed to by dating "Headsmasherman"... if you are dating him, or someone like him... please seek help here. When seeking help for depression, or related issues, please use CAUTION...if prescribed anti-depressants , ZOLOFT KILLS!

Kate's 21th birthday party is July 12, 2008 at our house, please plan on attending the fifth annual Katie K. Birthday Summer Music and Jam Festival, featuring the KTK Pizza oven and live on stage: Plugged in Teens, Overnite Sensation, Suffrin Blye , Runnin Wild, and more to be announced ..
