| KTK Memorial Sound One of the most profound moments in life happens to be one of the saddest and most poignant—the passing away of a loved one. For most of us, we memorialize a loved one with decent, modest and graceful commemorations of his or her life. We bring our family and friends together in intimate settings and share in deeply felt moments of remembrance. For others, the one passing away has had a larger footprint on life and requires a more public memorial. The intimacy we so want in our remembrances must give way to accommodating all of those who want to share in our loss. The passing of a police officer, firefighter, popular figure and luminary requires a larger effort to make the many loved ones and admirers pay their final respects. We have all experienced large memorial services where the words of those eulogizing the deceased are lost to the size of those gathered, especially with outdoor memorial services. Those who celebrate the life of those lost deserve to be heard, as the words and even the music and song of the ceremony are the very tributes paid to the life that has just passed on. It doesn’t have to be this way. Our mission at KTK Sound is to correct this oversight and provide the appropriate sound services so that those who have gathered from far and near to pay their last respect to a fallen friend or loved one will be able to experience and share the memorial with all in attendance. We offer the finest audio production available for those memorial services that must be shared and heard by many people in attendance: • The sound is run from solar battery power supplies—no noise or pollution. • We use ground based speaker placements and wireless microphones so the event is heard by all without distractions. Using wireless Lavaliere microphones and full range speakers, the sound will be very natural sounding and never too loud or overpowering. • We arrive and set-up before the service and assist those speakers who need help with their wireless microphones. We operate the event hands on from beginning to end. • We stand by at the controls for the proper moment to open the sound to the audience that has assembled to pay their respects. • In the case of services where the church, chapel or cemetery must contend with overflow crowds and must use a secondary facility, such as a tent, we can set up satellite sound systems that coordinate with the primary sound system. • The ceremony proceeds with all who have gathered hearing the very important memorial that has brought them all together. • The equipment is turned down and removed discreetly within minutes. • Upon your request, we can record the memorial for those who want to share it with others who could not make the service. The recorded audio can be delivered in a variety of ways, with or without post-production. One phone call sets this all up. We are self-contained and do all of the logistics and technical homework. This isn’t a bullhorn operation. Our sound will provide the best fidelity available.
